SEEN is a group of individuals who pledge to Support, Embrace, Educate, and form a Network for the LGBTQA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, allies) community. The goal is for this community and the Ashford/Clinton community to be viewed as an equal, unified group.

At SEEN's launch event in January 2011, we hosted a screening of the documentary Fish Out of Water, which explores what the Bible says about homosexuality. Following the launch event, SEEN and a fellow student organization, Women of Color, produced a benefit performance of The Vagina Monologues (proceeds went to the Clinton YWCA's Women's Resource Center to support survivors of sexual assualt).

In April 2011, the group co-led Take Back the Night events with the Clinton YWCA. The group also founded and organized the Slow-Dance-With-Anyone Prom (the AU Spring Dance).

For the 2011-2012 school year, SEEN plans to continue with last year's programming, and to introduce additional programming.
