Olivia Pollard is an Instructor in the College of Health, Human Services, and Science at Ashford University. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business/ Information Systems from University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ and her Master of Arts in Health Information Management from the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN. Additionally, Pollard is currently in the dissertation stages of pursuing her PhD in Management with a specialization in Information Systems Management from Walden University. She has professional experience in health information management, accounting, project management, IT, and information security. She lives in Queens, NY and takes a unique approach to education, telling students to treat their class as if it were their job in real life. “Teaching at Ashford allows me to reach more students in different areas. It is a school that promotes taking advantage of opportunities to share all knowledge with students.”
