College of Liberal ArtsDr. Colette Morrow is an Assistant Professor of English in the College of Liberal Arts at Ashford University. She holds a PhD in English from Texas Christian University, a Master of Education in English Language Arts from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Pre-Law from the University of St. Thomas. Since earning her doctorate in 1994, Morrow has taught English composition, literature, women’s studies and gender studies courses. She believes feminist perspectives and praxis guide her teaching. Morrow says, “My favorite part of being a professor is seeing students become empowered economically, socially, and personally.” In her free time she loves to travel and scuba dive.
