Maya Raimondi is an Instructor in the College of Education at Ashford University. She completed her higher education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she received her Master’s degree in Special Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Raimondi worked for over five years in the field of early intervention as a Developmental Specialist for Nevada Early Intervention Service and has experience working at an early childhood development center in both teaching and director roles. She has been an associate faculty member since June 2012 and believes, “Assisting a child in reaching their developmental milestones is the stepping stone toward a foundation for a strong education.” Raimondi is a representative for The Council of Professional Recognition in Washington, DC. When she is not educating, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, listening to music, traveling, completing do-it-yourself home renovation projects, and being a official “foodie” with her husband, who is a chef at Caesar’s Palace on the Las Vegas strip.
