Prior to that, she completed her RN degree from Hurley School of Nursing and her BSN from Saginaw Valley State University. Ms. Thomas chose to teach at Ashford University because of their broad and diverse student body. This choice falls in line with her teaching style centered on personal growth. She says, “Students reach beyond their own expectations and challenge their current beliefs. We have to move past the challenges one-step at a time by embracing the learning experience. Our educational journey is not without some sacrifices, but is all worth it to achieve our dreams!” When not teaching, Teresa loves spending time with her children and grandchild.
