Diana Donovan, MA
College of Liberal Arts
Diana Donovan is an Instructor in the College of Liberal Arts at Ashford University. She holds a Master’s degree in Religious Studies from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from New York University. Donovan worked in book publishing for many years – both in-house and as a freelancer. She has taught writing skills and humanities to learners in different phases of their lives, including students behind prison walls. She says to current and prospective students, “Your time in school is amazingly short. Use it to expand your ideas about the world and about yourself. Browse Ashford’s extensive library and share your discoveries in our weekly discussions.” Donovan has traveled in Europe and Canada, and has lived in New England, the Midwest, and for a short time in a Haitian mountain village. She and her husband settled in the mountains of North Carolina, where they raised their family and where she hikes mountain trails whenever possible.
