Dr. Jonathan Wilson is an Assistant Professor in the College of Liberal Arts at Ashford University. He holds a PhD in English Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) and a Master’s degree in English Studies, a Bachelor’s in English, and a minor in History from Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU). Dr. Wilson has taught in higher education since 2002, starting as a teaching assistant at ENMU while pursing his Master’s degree. He then earned a PhD fellowship and teaching assistantship at UTA. After graduating he taught as a full faculty member at ENMU, and as an adjunct at Wayland Baptist University and Clovis Community College. He came on as a faculty member at Ashford in 2013. Dr. Wilson’s favorite part of teaching is watching student interaction. He says, “Ashford is on the forefront of redefining how student interaction occurs and how to best utilize technology for educating their student population.” He lives in New Mexico with his wife and three sons.
