An educator in the College of Health, Human Services, and Science, Dr. Alice Vestergaard teaches courses in every available topic in the college except for psychology. After earning her Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Education, she took an interest in the use of Web 2.0 tools for teaching and learning. She quickly became a firm believer. “With the ever-evolving nature of technology, I continually explore new methods of creating experiential learning – regardless of subject matter.” In addition to working in education, Dr. Vestergaard has worked for both private companies and in the public sector. Just some of her work has been with international pharmaceutical companies, medical and surgical equipment companies, and health care organizations. She first came to Ashford University as a consultant developing the initial courses for the BA and MA in Health Care Administration. She recently authored an article about improving memory, which has been picked up by publications across the country.
