Dr. Kevin Kuznia is the Program Chair of the Bachelor of Arts in Finance and the Bachelor of Arts in Consumer and Family Financial Services in the Forbes School of Business at Ashford University. He earned a Doctor of Business Administration with a specialization in Management Careers from St. Ambrose University, a Master of Business Administration from University of Northern Iowa, a Master of Science in Finance from Walsh College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Technical and General Studies from Wayne State University. Before becoming an educator, Dr. Kuznia worked for John Deere for over 15 years as a market research analyst. He advises students to enjoy their educational journey. “Ask questions, get to know your classmates and professors, and read your course material so that you truly understand it. You will be sitting at graduation before you know it, and you will look back wondering where the time went. Did you make the most of that opportunity? How do you want your professors and classmates to remember you? I hope that legacy will be filled with positive thoughts on how you contributed to our learning experience.” Dr. Kuznia is married and has two children. His family lives on an acreage in Iowa, where they raise chickens and ducks. He jokes that his favorite hobbies include fishing, fishing, and more fishing. He says, “My real passion is in learning and application. That’s why I am here – not only to teach, but to continue to learn.”
