Dr. Magdy Hussein is an Assistant Professor in the Forbes School of Business at Ashford University. An author and a scholar, he holds a PhD in Organization and Management from Capella University, a Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Educational Engineering from Helwan University in Cairo-Egypt. Dr. Hussein has 25 years of engineering experience in broadcasting system engineering, computer networking, and medical equipment industries. In addition to teaching at Ashford, he also instructs part-time at UC Berkeley-Extension, Northwestern Polytechnic University, and National University. He teaches graduate level courses in organizational behavior, development, design, and management as well as strategic management, strategic marketing, marketing research, business law, and many other areas of management. He says, “In any class I teach, I start with, ‘what are you planning to learn from this course? What are your expectations?’ I always try to turn information in the textbook into knowledge that students can use in their professional careers and in their personal lives.” Dr. Hussein believes in diversity and differences as a natural source of enriching one’s intellectuality and sophistication.
