Dr. Gregory Dlabach is an Assistant Professor in the College of Liberal Arts at Ashford University. He earned his EdD in Higher Education from the University of Arkansas, his Master’s degree in Mathematics from Missouri State University, and his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Dlabach began his college teaching career in 1988. He served as a college dean from 1999-2003 and afterwards took on a role as a college vice president. He has been instructing online since 2007 and says, “I have developed a set of core values that have guided me through my teaching in the online learning environment. These core values are trust, respect, supportiveness, cohesiveness, and flexibility. These five elements when optimized create a distinct air in a classroom, seated or virtual, where one cannot help but be successful.” Dr. Dlabach has two daughters, Audrey and Ellise. He married his wife Heather in 2012. The family has a Maine Coon named Sly who runs the household. Dr. Dlabach enjoys golfing and volunteering in his spare time and resides in in southwest Missouri.
