Dr. Jerry Collins is an Assistant Professor in the College of Education at Ashford University. He earned a PhD in Leadership in Educational Administration from Capella University, a Master’s degree in Supervision and Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Miles College. Dr. Collins’ professional experience spans K-12 education, administration, and chairing doctoral committees. He prizes his experience in elementary education – including teaching children how to read and write – as some of his most memorable moments. Dr. Collins enjoys the real world learning opportunities provided to learners at Ashford University and is excited about working for an institution that is highly respected.
