Dr. Pamela Vincent is an Assistant Professor and the Program Chair for the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in the College of Health, Human Services, and Science at Ashford University. She holds a PhD specializing in Human Development and Family Science from The Ohio State University, an MS in Human Development and Family Science from The Ohio State University, and a BA in Psychology from Ohio Northern University. Dr. Vincent went into online teaching in order to have a career that would allow her the flexibility to better balance her work and family life. At Ashford, she instructs developmental psychology courses and says, “I love being able to reach a group of students who are working hard to improve their lives while also balancing families and jobs. I am often inspired by the dedication and drive of my students, as well as their personal stories and reasons for furthering their education. I am always happy and willing to chat with them and give them information and advice.” Dr. Vincent lives in Columbus, OH with her husband and daughter. The family loves cheering on Columbus sports teams and is very involved in the children's programs at their church.
