Biography"My favorite part of teaching at Ashford is participating in a profession that gives people opportunities to change their lives."
Lee Salazar serves as the Science Laboratory Supervisor and has been with Ashford University since 2007. Salazar has Bachelor of Science degrees in both Psychology (Northern Illinois University 2002) and Biology (Ashford University 2007), and a Master's degree in Psychology (University of the Rockies 2011). In addition to overseeing daily laboratory activities, Salazar also supervises science division internships and student laboratory assistants, and helps to coordinate students’ senior thesis projects. He is also the advisor for the Math and Science organization on campus (Mu Sigma Eta) and oversees the Mu Sigma Eta Special problems course as well. During his time at Ashford, Salazar has also filled in as a laboratory instructor and is currently a member of the safety committee. His hope is that “students get the most out of their experience at Ashford and that they truly enjoy the time that they spend here.”
