Three New Faculty Members Join AU

When the fall semester began at Ashford University last month, there were three new faculty members among the many new faces on the Clinton campus.

Dr. Lee Cartwright, who had previously been an associate professor at Texas A&M University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences for the past 18 years, is now teaching organic and quantitative chemistry courses at Ashford. He earned his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from North Carolina State University and his M.B.A. degree from Salisbury State University, Salisbury, MD.

Now teaching Ashford’s general chemistry and college physics courses is Dr. Karen Meade. Dr. William Woods is teaching marketing courses and several general business courses this semester. An adjunct professor at Ashford since 2005, Woods was employed at the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Davenport from 2003-2008.
