AU Forms Articulation Agreement with Hancock



Ashford University has announced a new partnership and articulation agreement with Allan Hancock College, headquartered in Santa Clara, California. Through the partnership, Allan Hancock College students will now be able to transfer up to 99 credits into one of Ashford’s online bachelor degree programs.

“This agreement will provide students at Allan Hancock College with the next-step in their academic careers,” said David Vande Pol, senior director of academic partnerships for Ashford University. “Ashford’s mission is to provide the highest-quality degree programs in a way that is accessible. This partnership enables these students to embark upon a four-year undergraduate program of their choosing, while maximizing the credits they earned at Allan Hancock.”

Allan Hancock College is a California public community college located in Santa Maria in northern Santa Barbara County. Approximately 11,000 credit students and more than 5,500 noncredit and community service students enroll each semester.

“Our goal at Allan Hancock is to tailor our programs to meet the ever-changing needs of our students on an individual, community, and global level,” said Dave DeGroot, the articulation officer at Allan Hancock College. “The programs at Ashford University not only have a high career translatability, but allow our students the option to pursue a variety of four year degree programs from Ashford.” he added.

To date, Ashford University has 31 articulation agreements representing 119 colleges.
