Ashford University Forms Articulation Agreements with 24 Community Colleges Across the Nation



November 19, 2015– Ashford University formed new articulation agreements with 24 community colleges in 2015. The agreements ensure that graduates from these two-year institutions will be able to transfer credits to Ashford where they can take the next step in their educational journey.

The colleges that entered into articulation agreements with Ashford University this year include Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in Cincinnati, Ohio and Tidewater Community College in Chesapeake, Virginia. Ashford also signed articulation agreements with six colleges in the Florida College System: Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, Lake-Sumter State College in Leesburg, Polk State College in Lakeland, St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, and South Florida State College in Avon Park.

Ashford formed agreements with 16 colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System as well. Those colleges are Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville, Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire, Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, Madison Area Technical College in Madison, Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids, Milwaukee Area Technical College in Milwaukee, Moraine Park Technical College in Beaver Dam, Nicolet Area Technical College in Rhinelander, Northcentral Technical College in Wausau, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in Fennimore, Waukesha County Technical College in Pewaukee, Western Technical College in La Crosse, and Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Superior.

With these articulation agreements, Ashford is helping to make higher education more accessible to students. The agreements provide a path for students to begin their higher education at a local community college and then pursue their bachelor’s degree online with Ashford.
