Biography

Dr. Nichole Rich is an Assistant Professor and Program Chair for the Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education in the College of Education at Ashford University. She received a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Capella University, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Educational Leadership, a Master’s degree in Special Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Bridgewater State University.

Dr. Rich brings a great deal of experience to her role at Ashford, having taught in the public school systems in Massachusetts for eight years before moving into administration and serving as a director and principal. Prior to her role at Ashford, Dr. Rich travelled around the United States providing professional development workshops for incorporating yoga and music into classrooms to maximize learning and brain development in children.

Dr. Rich is excited to work with those who have a passion for learning and development of young minds. She believes that early childhood development is the most vital time to ensure that children are given the tools they need to have a successful educational career. Dr. Rich is dedicated and committed to helping those on the path to work in education, and believes that every learner has something unique to bring to the field. She has been an avid martial artist since 2007, lives in Norton, MA, and enjoys spending time with her family, the beach, training her German Shepherd, and traveling to new places.
