The Environmental Association

Ashford University's Environmental Association is a group of students dedicated to conservation of the environment. Its members work with other organizations in the Clinton community to provide people with opportunities to improve environmental quality.

The Association is especially appropriate for students who are interested in working with public land management agencies, community groups, outdoor education centers, and conservation organizations, or who may want to pursue a graduate education in these areas.

The Association prepares member students to work with public land management agencies, community groups, outdoor education centers, conservation organizations, and various graduate school programs.

Currently, the Association is working on a recycling project on the Clinton campus together with a local recycling firm. Over time, they intend to work on international conservation projects focusing on ecological, social, and economic change.
