Rio Salado Admission Requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution. Official Transcripts will be required for Formal Admission
- Completion of all Rio EDU Level I courses with a "B" or better with an overall GPA in EDU coursework of 3.0 (see program plan). www.rio.maricopa.edu
- EDU285AA: Education Seminar
- Successful completion of the Teacher Prep Student Assessment of Academic Proficiency Exam
- Two letters of character reference
- Fingerprint clearance
- Improvement/Intervention Plan, if needed
- Acceptable TOEFL score, if English is not your native language or if determined by Department Chair to be necessary
