Black History Month – Promoting Access and Wellness in Students

black history month

February is Black History Month, and the monthly feature of Promoting Access and Wellness in Students (PAWS) is the video below that features Ashford University’s Associate Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion, Tremier Johnson. We followed Tremier’s advice and used this opportunity to visit the African Museum located in San Diego’s Old Town. The museum is dedicated to African and African-American heritage.

This visit provided countless examples of the positive impact that African Americans have had on our country. This month’s PAWS will show you the importance of both cultural diversity and learning in your own community!
