Biography

Autumn Leal is the credential assessment coordinator/ ombudsman in the College of Education at Ashford University. Mrs. Leal has also served as an adjunct faculty member for the College of Education and has held several positions for multiple departments within Ashford including admissions and student services. She holds an MBA from Ashford University and a BA in interdisciplinary studies from National University. In addition, she is pursuing her doctorate degree in psychology with a specialization in educational leadership from Ashford. Prior to joining Ashford, she worked in an after school program as a substitute teacher’s aid. She believes in the value of higher education and wants to support students in obtaining college degrees. “I credit higher education for providing me opportunities to be successful. As a result, I want to see others be provided with the same learning opportunities. Therefore, I provide guidance and support to students to aid in their educational success.” Mrs. Leal lives in San Diego with her husband and their three children.
