Biography

Dr. Jacqueline Ryan-Rojas brings a diverse educational background to her role as educator at Ashford University. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from the University of California, a Master’s degree in Cross-Cultural Teaching from National University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership for Higher Education from Capella University. She has used this knowledge to teach every level from kindergarten to graduate school, focusing on a variety of topics from theatre to geometry. At Ashford, she teaches a variety of classes, and enjoys the opportunity that distance learning provides students with diverse backgrounds. “I love teaching online and providing encouragement and support for the future and current teacher. It is great to be a cheerleader for these adult learners as many Ashford students are dedicated scholars who have a variety of responsibilities outside the courseroom.” A married mother of three, Dr. Jacqueline Ryan-Rojas worked full-time while earning her graduate and doctoral degree online, and credits her family for providing her the support to succeed.
