Judy Donovan, EdD
Dr. Judy Donovan is the Program Chair for the Bachelor of Arts in Library Science and Media in the College of Education at Ashford University. She obtained her Doctorate in Instructional Technology and Distance Learning from Nova Southeastern University. She holds Master’s degrees in Library Information Systems (Indiana University/Purdue University), Educational Leadership (Western Michigan University), Early Childhood Education (Grand Valley State University), and Business Administration (Eastern Michigan University). Her Bachelor’s degree in General Studies was earned at the University of Michigan. Dr. Donovan teaches courses in library media, library science, educational technology and information literacy, as well as the graduate-level Education Capstone course. She says, “I have been impressed with Ashford University since I began teaching here. Ashford has the best faculty development opportunities at any institution I have been a part of and the faculty members are wonderful, so I love learning and growing here.” Dr. Donovan resides in Port Huron, MI with her husband.
