Stacy Beharry is a member of the associate faculty in the College of Education at Ashford University. She has been in the field of early childhood education for over 25 years, serving in both leadership and teaching roles. Beharry received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a specialization in both Psychology and Education from Syracuse University. She went on to receive her master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from NYU and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Organizational Change from the University of Southern California’s online doctoral program. She also is a certified teacher in New York and New Jersey. Having utilized an online education platform herself, Beharry understands the importance of work-life balance and is excited to help adult learners achieve their dreams of higher education in accessible ways. She is even more excited to help future early childhood educators and truly believes that outstanding early childhood teachers serve as the foundation of every child’s academic success during the schooling years.
