Dr. Suzanne Paone, DHA
Dr. Suzanne Paone is an Assistant Professor in the College of Health, Human Services, and Science at Ashford University. She earned her MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, a Doctorate of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, and the Registered Health Administrator certification from Alabama State University.
Dr. Paone brings more than 10 years of traditional and online teaching experience to her role at Ashford. She has also spent more than 25 years working for a large, international medical center with progressive roles in administration, clinical translational research, information technology management, and consumer health program development.
Reflecting on her experience, Dr. Paone said she especially enjoys working with students as they transition from the academic environment into careers in health information management (HIM).
“[HIM] is rapidly evolving in areas such as technology development, analytics-based health care, and health care consumerism,” she said. “These are exciting times to be part of the field. I look forward to working with the learners at Ashford to open these exciting doors as you progress through your studies.”
