It is an incredible privilege to support my students’ personal journeys, as they learn how to apply their sociological perspective, and then go off in to the world to help address some of today’s pressing social issues.

What I love about teaching sociology is that it has the potential to shift the ways in which students see the world and understand their own personal histories. It is an incredible privilege to support my students’ personal journeys, as they learn how to apply their sociological perspective, and then go off in to the world to help address some of today’s pressing social issues.”
