Dr. Kenneth Edick is the Program Chair for the Bachelor of Arts in Supply Chain Management in the Forbes School of Business at Ashford University. He earned a PhD in Organization and Management from Capella University, a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science and Technology from Thomas A. Edison State College. Before coming on board as a full-time professor with Ashford, Dr. Edick gained over two decades of experience leading teams in engineering, field service, and research and development, as well as working at several other universities. He teaches courses in project management, supply chain management, and general operations. He enjoys the quality, enthusiasm, and dedication of Ashford’s students. Dr. Edick believes his professional background allows him to bring real world experiences and lessons into the classroom. He encourages prospective and current students to always be prepared, saying that, “Online learning is not for everyone. It takes the ability to be a self-starter and to have an increased level of self-motivation to be successful.” As advice for current and prospective students, he adds, “Online courses bring challenges in technology, scheduling, and life events. Plan on setting a schedule with contingencies for all the common interruptions.” Dr. Edick resides in Austin, Texas with his wife. They have two teenage children, a daughter and a son.
