Dr. Stephanie YoungGonzaga is an Assistant Professor in the Forbes School of Business at Ashford University. She holds a DM in Leadership and Organizational Management, Information Systems and Technology, an MS in Computer Information Systems, and a BS in Business Administration, all from University of Phoenix. She has over 20 years of experience in information systems, enterprise IT operations, and business management, where she has held titles such as Vice President of IT, Senior Vice President, and Chief Information Officer. As a former online student herself, she is very familiar with the tremendous amount of effort it takes to complete an advanced degree in an online program. “Speaking from personal experience, online programs are arguably the best way to get a career advancing degree while working full time. Teaching and sharing my experiences with students allows me to give back to the community while helping others realize their goals. I enjoy working at Ashford because its mission is student-focused and the people here are very dedicated to the mission.” Dr. YoungGonzaga is an avid reader of science fiction, enjoys refinishing old furniture, and donates her technical skills to non-profit organizations. She and her husband, who live in Southern California, enjoy visiting the beautiful islands in the Philippines.
