I live in San Diego with my wife (Chrystal), daughter (Kaitlyn), daughter (Autumn), daughter (Braelein), son (Logan), son (Jason), son (Preston), and my cat (Salem). My wife Chrystal is a stay at home mother (God bless her). I’m originally from San Antonio, TX. After traveling the world as a Navy brat [I’ve lived in Italy, Colorado, and Oregon, just to name of the few places I grew up the family finally settled down in San Diego, CA. I also love playing the guitar, piano and working on cars. I’m a Chevy guy, so I love to work on Chevy motors. My current project is a 1984 Chevy Corvette that I am currently working on. Academically: I began my educational journey while attending the University of The Pacific and graduated in 1997 with a BA (Sports Medicine). Eight years later I earned my MS in software engineering and two years later I earned an MBA. I am currently about to finish my Ph.D. in the next couple of months. Professionally: I have over ten years of experience working as an educator. I have worked as an Associate Dean and Program Chair in my past life. I have held many CompTIA Security plus, A +, and Network + certification boot camps. I have an active CCNA, S+ and will be taking my CEH in December. I have over 17 years of field experience and adding. I have taught courses in database management, various programming languages, software engineering, and networking and security. I also enjoy working on databases and securing networks.
