Creating an environment in which you can overcome life’s challenges is the job of your Student Access & Wellness Support Team. If you are a disabled student, you will find the support you need to complete your college journey.
Student Access and Wellness Counselor
Ashford University’s Office of Student Access and Wellness ensures that all students are able to receive the education they deserve. The Student Access and Wellness Counselor is responsible for authorizing academic accommodations for students with documented disabilities. This person will provide disability-related support and advocacy, and work with former students who return to the University after being withdrawn.
Through the Student Advocate HELPline, Student Advocates work with students during times of extreme need in order to address concerns for immediate safety, identify community resources, and address educational impacts of personal hardships. If you are struggling with suicidal thoughts, impact related to the loss of a loved one, domestic violence, homelessness, or another hardship, email [email protected] to connect with a Student Advocate.
