Invitation for CCNE Third-Party Comments
Ashford University’s College of Health, Human Services, and Science is seeking initial accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Ashford’s nursing program will host a site-visit for CCNE, January 31 to February 2, 2018.
The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education is officially recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a national accreditation agency. CCNE is an autonomous accrediting agency that contributes to the improvement of the public’s health, and ensures the quality and integrity of baccalaureate, graduate, and residency programs in nursing.
The CCNE accreditation process provides the opportunity for program constituents and other interested parties to submit, in writing, comments concerning a program’s qualifications for accreditation. Third-party comments will be accepted by CCNE until 21 days before the scheduled on-site evaluation, or January 10, 2018.
